Listen, Nature Speaks.

She became the soil
the earth befriended
dormant lavender,
brushed her pulse
cells awakened
nudging her soul
less despised,
unfurled from little repose
honey of nectar, filled her veins
razor-edged thorns altered
anguished tendrils into,
a resounding voice of
verdant leaves
lifted into prayer
tears descended
to her roots
a soothing
witness of
love
