Shattered pieces can heal.

Artist: Matthew Davis

Artist: Matthew Davis

Maybe when an artist creates a mosaic they are taking shattered pieces of self and rearranging the pain into art. Maybe the kiln of despair cures the brokenness and burns off another layer so we can see clearer.

Let’s hold the tenderness of shadow’s truths because there’s wisdom deep in our scars. Let’s wrap a blanket around the spirits still haunting in the crevices of our unknown. Let’s rest in the knowing that all of this is the unveiling and trajectory of being and healing and seeing the path of our heart.
